Press Release Body = A NEW PRINCESS ARRIVES TO COMPLETE THE FAMILY!

On Wednesday 8th November DFDS Seaways christened its newest ship, the Princess of
Norway.

The new addition to the DFDS Seaways family means that two of the largest vessels on
the North Sea, the King and Queen of Scandinavia, now have a Princess to complete
their Newcastle-based family, which now consists of the three largest passenger
ships operating across the North Sea.

DFDS Seaways, the leading cruise ferry operator, purchased the vessel, previously
named Fjord Norway, from Fjord Line in a bid to extend its offering by adding a
route to Western Norway. The investment in this new route indicates DFDS Seaways'
strong market position.

Following a Ł5 million renovation which included a complete refurbishment of
restaurants, accommodation, paintwork and carpets - the Princess of Norway will set
sail on the new DFDS Seaways route from the 9th November. This new service will see
the vessel travelling between Newcastle and the Norwegian ports of Stavanger,
Haugesund and Bergen, the only passenger ship sailing between the two countries.

There will be twice-weekly sailings which will increase to three weekly sailings in
Summer 2007. Norway is proving a strong destination for UK holidaymakers and
travellers, and research shows that the west coast Fjords is the most attractive
Scandinavian area for UK tourists.

DFDS Seaways UK managing director John Crummie comments: "We know people in the UK
have a strong interest in Norway and we look forward to providing a quality offering
for people who can start their holiday the moment they step on board our ship.

"Across the year, people can select from our excellent range of holidays and short
breaks which include touring, activity based holidays, something special luxury
holidays and breaks, family holidays and coastal retreats together with cottage and
villa holidays.

The Princess of Norway was christened by her 'godmother' Angelika Skaug, who is
married to Ingar Skaug a member of the board of DFDS Seaways and managing director
of the Norwegian shipping company Wilh. Wilhelmsen.
